EFC Centre at Wat Tyler Country ParkOur centre is available for visits on a pre-booked basis on Wednesdays between 10am - 4pm. The Club’s activities and displays are also usually open to the public on the first Saturday of the month 11am - 4pm.

Status: Local Wildlife Site (LoWS)
Access: Unfenced from Arisdale Avenue, some de facto public access


Summary: The site contains flower rich brownfield, some sandy exposures and banks, Horse grazed grassland, wet woodland, Phragmites reedbed and open water.

Description:

Reason for interest: There are areas of high plant and habitat diversity, south facing exposures, sparsely vegetated areas as well as wet woodland and Salix species.
